“Another round of indirect Iran-United States talks is underway in Muscat, Oman.

Iran is firmly determined to pursue its inalienable lawful rights for peaceful uses of nuclear energy under NPT while fully prepared to continue its diplomatic engagement to ensure the already demonstrated ‘peaceful nature’ of its nuclear program.

We are equally resolved to work for termination of unlawful & inhuman sanctions that have long been imposed on our people.”

On another post on X, he announced: “The fourth round of indirect Iran-U.S. negotiations is concluded; difficult but useful talks to better understand each other’s positions and to find reasonable & realistic ways to address the differences.”

He further stated that the next round will be coordinated and announced by Oman.

The first round of these indirect negotiations between Iran and the U.S., mediated by Oman, was held on April 12 in Muscat, and the second round of talks took place in Rome on Saturday, April 19, again with Oman as the intermediary. The third round of talks, which took place on Saturday, April 26, was also in Oman.
